Important Notes!
*IMPORTANT*: GM is producing several knuckle/control arm configurations in 2014-2017 models trucks. Cast Steel control arm equipped models will require the ininCast Steel Control Arminin kit (#C35). Stamped Steel and Aluminum control arm equipped models will require the ininAluminum Control Arminin kit (#C36). Be sure to verify which factory control arms your truck has before ordering your kit by referecing our help image below (click image for larger view):

  • To reduce trimming required for tire fitment, a 20inin wheel w/5.75inin backspacing is recommended
  • Factory 17inin and 18inin wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference
  • Maximum Rear Shock length is 29-3/4inin due to driveshaft to cross member interference. For Fox Adventure series shocks use 984-50-757

The 6.5'' system for the 2WD 1/2-ton GM trucks mimics the geometry of the tried and true, FMVSS No.126 compliant 4WD lift systems. The kits include a pair of fully boxed heavy duty crossmembers and robust ductile iron steering knuckles engineered to work with the redesigned steering rack. This coupled with the crossmember braces creates an incredibly strong front subframe designed to correct suspension geometry while increasing ground clearance. To retain factory ride quality a pair of bolt-on strut spacers are used to provide lift. These install easily without the need to disassemble the factory strut. Also included in the kit are brake line brackets, sway bar relocation, rear 5'' blocks, u-bolts, Fox shocks and all the necessary hardware to complete the install. Optional accessories for this lift kit include Zone front skid plate and rear add-a-leaf kit and are 10 separately. As with all Zone kits, this 6.5'' system is backed by Zone's limited lifetime warranty, FMVSS No.126 ESC system compliance, and 5-year 60,000-mile drivetrain protection through 560plus.com.The NHTSA's Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No.126 requires all new passenger vehicles to include Electronic Stability Control (ESC) systems that meet certain standards that can be tested through a comprehensive series of evasive maneuvers. Aftermarket products must meet these standards as well. Zone Offroad Products is leading the industry by independently testing all suspension kits to verify the kits are fully compliant with the stability control system requirements set by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 126.
