The Turbosmart TS-0506-1101 HyperGate45 is the supercharger-optimized, 10 PSI black variant of Turbosmart's Gen IV 45mm external wastegate, differentiated from the standard HyperGate45 by the inclusion of an aluminum inlet weld flange and an expanded spring pack. The aluminum inlet flange reduces overall installation weight and is particularly suited to supercharger bypass valve configurations where the inlet plumbing geometry and thermal environment differ from typical turbocharger manifold setups. The 10 PSI pre-installed spring provides a higher mechanical base pressure than the standard 7 PSI variants, giving the boost control system a firmer mechanical floor well suited to supercharged applications running higher base boost targets.

The HyperGate45 platform was completely redesigned from the ground up, delivering a significantly smaller and lighter unit than its predecessor while maintaining the same 45mm valve diameter. The solid one-piece coated stainless steel valve and Silicon Nomex diaphragm combine high-temperature durability with reliable actuator sealing across the full operating range. The unique locking collar design reduces overall unit height and allows faster spring changes without removing the wastegate from the manifold, making spring pressure adjustments straightforward during tuning sessions.

Installation suits all popular 44mm inlet and outlet weld flanges and is compatible with 1.75" O.D. manifold pipe for welding. The 1/16" NPT pressure ports on both the cap and base allow boost reference lines to be routed in the most convenient direction for the specific installation. Spring options ranging from 3 PSI to 26 PSI are available separately for custom base pressure configurations beyond what the included spring pack covers. This wastegate is suitable for both street performance and racing builds on medium-to-large capacity engines running turbocharger or positive displacement supercharger forced induction systems.
