This new design is for the 2011 to 2018 Jeep Wrangler console. When designing the safe, we wanted to insure access to the USB port, but ran into a problem with some models. We bought a new console and it worked great, but when we installed the final prototype we found the USB placement varies between models. This safe will allow access only on consoles with the USB in a horizontal orientation. This model does allow you to keep the small compartment under the lid. We now have a model that allow access to the vertical USB. LD2068EX
