Front lift is achieved by installing spacers on top of the factory coil-over shock assembly. Pre-load rings, installed below the coil springs, slightly increase spring rate to help offset the additional loads created by running larger tires, and firms up what would otherwise be a inch œ spongy inch � ride. The factory upper controls are retained and remain in their original location, while the factory lower control arms and axle housing are lowered, in relation to the frame. Superlift replacement steering knuckles, made of cast ductile iron, space the increased distance between the controls arms. Our Lower Control arm cross-members are true to their height and are a one-piece, full-width, high-clearance design made of .25 inch � steel plate. The rear lift is achieved with a heavy-duty fabricated rear block. The primary axle u-bolts that are captured in the upper and lower plates with the secondary u-bolts attached to the OE leaf Spring to reduce pinion wrap.
