6.5-inch Lift Kit 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra 1500 with Fox Shocks Superlift Suspension Systems now available with Superlift, Bilstein 5100 or Fox 2.0 Shocks: Superlifts true to the height 6.5-inch lift kit for the 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra 1500 is a great way to add height to your overall GM 1500 appearance. Superlifts Shock options now include Fox Performance Series 2.0 IFP Shocks. This allows you to select your ride comfort. Superlift Suspension intentionally over-builds our suspension kits to be the best. Our uniquely engineered design adds strength and durability and has bonus features that others do not offer. Front lift is achieved by installing spacers on top of the factory coil-over shock assembly. Pre-load rings, installed below the coil springs, slightly increase spring rate to help offset the additional loads created by running larger tires, and firms up what would otherwise be a spongy ride. The factory upper controls are retained and remain in their original location, while the factory lower control arms and axle housing are lowered, in relation to the frame. Superlift replacement steering knuckles, made of cast ductile iron, space the increased distance between the controls arms. Superlifts geometry, from steering timing and linkage angles to driveshaft and CV axle operating angles, yields optimal component service life and exceptional drivability. Our Lower Control arm cross-members are true to their height and are a one-piece, full-width, high-clearance design made of .25 steel plate. The rear lift is achieved with a heavy-duty fabricated rear block. The primary axle u-bolts that are captured in the upper and lower plates with the secondary u-bolts attached to the OE leaf Spring to reduce pinion wrap. This kit includes front knuckles, front strut spacers, cross-members, a rear block and u-bolt kit and rear Shocks Superlift, Bilstein, or Fox Shocks. All require parts are included to make sure your Silverado or Sierra handles and performance in all conditions.
