XRGB Evo: A simple design refresh would have been easy, but that's not what this is all about. The all-new XRGB Evo headlights are a showcase of everything Morimoto is made of. From concept to completion. Packed with features that demonstrate a true attention to detail including the latest in technology, compliance, quality, and styling, these headlights are designed for enthusiasts who are serious about all the above, even if it comes at a premium. With features like a welcome sequence, RGB color-changing DRLs, and smoked side markers, your Z will stand out from the pack!All New Optics: Photometrically, the XRGB Evo headlights do meet all DOT/FVMSS108 guidelines for on-road illumination and glare, however due to the color-changing RGB daytime running light and smoked sidemarkers, these lights are not DOT compliant. Here, the XRGB headlight utilizes dual Bi-LED projectors to deliver unmatched light output, with an incredibly bright and wide low beam, and a high beam that destroys darkness thanks to a D-optic high beam assist. All optics are powered by the latest OE-grade automotive LEDs from Nichia in Japan. Unique to the XRGB Evo model is additional low beam output width from integrated “side-shooter” LEDs inside the projectors. DRL & Signals: The turn signals and daytime running lights illuminate glass-like optics with special surface textures, which enable maximum intensity from all viewing angles. Easily out-shining low-tech optics found in most every other aftermarket headlight, they also provide a one-off look with a unique design hugging the bottom of the housing. Not enough? The integrated Bluetooth-controlled RGB function lets you choose any color you want and a variety of show modes to cycle between colors. With the RGB off, the signal swap system allows users to personalize how the daytime running lights and turn signals operate according to personal preference, all through a simple plug n play key on the back of each headlight. The daytime running light can be configured to run full-time in either white or amber with no compromise in intensity either way. The turn signals can operate sequentially from side to side, or in a more traditional on-off mode with an elegant fade-off effect.Start-up Sequence: When starting your Z, the optics will automatically illuminate in a multi-stage sequence before turning back off. Unlike every other feature baked into XB Evo headlights, this does absolutely nothing to improve performance. But executed properly, it does look cool, and there's nothing wrong with that!DOT Non-Compliant Reflector: Their performance leaves no doubts that these headlights perform beautifully and could pass any optics test they're subject to. However, due to the integrated RGB color-changing DRL feature, these headlights are not for on-road use in North America. For this reason, we opted for smoked reflex side reflectors for a sleeker look too.OE Fit & Installation: The XRGB Evo and XB Evo Hybrid headlights are expertly crafted to match all OE specifications to ensure perfect fitment and hassle-free installation. They will bolt onto the original mounting points and line up to the surrounding sheet-metal without any massaging, and then plug into the factory wire harness and then work without errors on the dash, flickering, flashing, or radio interference. Thoughtfully engineered for a modification-free install. No factory warranties void. Nichia LEDs from Japan are used throughout. All wiring and connections are OE-grade. When it comes to UV protection, OE Toyota headlights are industry-best, which is why we've formulated a new hard coating that exceeds their testing standard for resistance against cracking, fading, and yellowing lenses from UV exposure.
